Growing up immersed in the world of dogs, I developed a deep appreciation for the dedication and joy that comes with responsible breeding. My journey began with terriers and Dobermans, learning the nuances of developing sound, well-rounded dogs. However, when life called for a breed with unparalleled versatility, the Australian Shepherd became the perfect answer.

The Australian Shepherd embodies everything I value in a dog: intelligence, athleticism, loyalty, and adaptability. These qualities make them not only exceptional companions but also outstanding competitors in a variety of venues. From excelling in agility to dominating obedience / rally trials, succeeding in nose work and even shining as therapy dogs, Australian Shepherds are true all-around athletes and companions.

At Hooked on Aussies, we are committed to preserving and enhancing the breed’s natural talents and temperament. Our Aussies are carefully bred to excel in both performance and companionship. Whether it’s in the show ring, on the farm, or snuggling at home, our dogs consistently demonstrate the versatility and brilliance that define the breed.

Every puppy we raise is nurtured with love, care, and early training to set them up for success in their future homes. Our puppies are raised in our home alongside our children, ensuring they receive daily hands-on interaction and exposure. This early socialization fosters a natural love for small children, making our puppies the ideal addition to any family. As part of our commitment to excellence, we incorporate the Puppy Culture program into our puppy-raising process, ensuring each puppy receives the best foundation for socialization, confidence, and resilience. We also prioritize health testing, sound structure, and stable temperaments, ensuring our dogs are well-prepared to excel in any role they take on.
